Photographs and postcards of Shaker women and Shaker communities in Mill River, Mass.; Poland Spring and Sabbathday Lake, Me.; Canterbury, N.H.; and Mount Lebanon, N.Y. There are also postcards of Shaker bridges in Enfield, N.H. and from the Shaker Historical Society Museum in Cleveland, Ohio. The photographs date from ca. 1870-1963; the postcards mostly date from ca. 1926-1960. Photographers include Notman Photograph Company of Boston, Mass.; other photographers are unidentified. Include one stereoview and one cabinet card photograph.
